Michael Kazula

Michael, 29, married, was born in Moshav Rinatya. From the age of 7, his main hobby was model airplanes, which he would build and fly for fun around the moshav in his free time. He attended high school at “Ort Technikum” in Givatayim, and at 18, he joined the IDF Academic Reserve program, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Afeka College. After graduating, he enlisted as an officer in the IDF and served for seven years in the UAV division of the Ground Forces. During his service, he played a key role in establishing the UAV laboratory and commanded it for two years while serving in the Ground Forces Headquarters. This lab continues to develop solutions and capabilities for all aerial tools in the division, where he still serves as a reservist. His master’s degree in Business Administration also included final projects focusing on drones.


Since joining CopterPIX, Michael has led the development of the company’s next generation of drones. Under his leadership, the company achieved rapid and innovative development of drones with advanced capabilities, such as GNSS immunity, advanced communication systems, and integration with specialized payloads. His work involves deep research and the development of groundbreaking technologies, including advanced control systems, sophisticated autonomous capabilities, and significant improvements in the drones’ overall performance.


In his role, Michael leads the company’s development and engineering team. He is driven by innovation and out-of-the-box thinking, dedicating significant effort to understanding the unique needs of clients and tailoring products to meet these needs.
