Age: 30 | Organization: Cognyte | Role: Team Leader, Pre-Sales and Business Development

Bella was born and raised in Brazil but spent most of her life traveling the world through volunteer and enrichment programs, during which she learned several languages. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a diplomat and winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Her first encounter with the security world happened when she was looking for a meaningful job and started working as an analyst for a British consulting firm advising security companies and governments. It was in this role that she was first introduced to OSINT, back in the days of manual work—mapping connections between entities with sticky notes on a whiteboard, just like in the movies.

Bella is independent, opinionated, and a trailblazer, which led her to take an unconventional path. She immigrated to Israel at the age of 22, learned Hebrew within a year, and began working as an analyst at a startup focused on adapting military technology for civilian use. For her, working in the field of security technology as a civilian in Israel—a country deeply rooted in security—became a driving force for her motivation.

At Cognyte, Bella started as an OSINT analyst and instructor in the post-sales domain. For two years, she traveled and supported clients using the company’s technology. She worked directly with end-users in the security sector and developed a strong expertise in organized crime. After two very successful years in the role, Bella transitioned to the pre-sales team, where she now works with decision-makers in security organizations around the world. Over time, she built and now leads a team, managing several employees.

Bella has extensive knowledge of various cultures, years of experience in the OSINT field, and is fluent in multiple languages. However, these are secondary to her strong sense of purpose and unwavering self-confidence, which enable her to excel and lead in the predominantly male security field.
