O. Aeronautics

Age: 29 | Organization: Aeronautics | Role: Head of Drone Development Team
O. grew up in Rishon Lezion, and from a young age, he was fascinated by model airplanes — a hobby he started with his father that evolved over the years into a deep and genuine passion for aviation and development. His love for building model airplanes and drones continued during his military service in an Air Force UAV squadron, eventually leading to an exciting career as the Head of Drone Development Team at Aeronautics. Alongside his professional work, he actively serves in the reserves, making a significant contribution to national security.
O. has been working at Aeronautics since February 2017. Over the past seven years, he has focused on drone development, and about three years ago, he was promoted to lead the drone development team. In recent years, the drone field at the company has undergone a substantial transformation.
Since October 7, O. and his team have been working closely with the defense system, providing solutions to existing challenges while simultaneously developing new capabilities to meet the evolving needs of national security during active conflict. This work has created unique operational intelligence solutions for various IDF units.
Throughout this period, especially during the early months of the conflict, his efforts were marked by extremely high intensity, long hours, and constant availability—days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
“I’m proud to use the knowledge and experience I’ve gained to contribute to national security and develop innovative technologies in the field of drones.”
