Major A. is an outstanding officer in MAFAT, responsible for leading the field of AI and information exploitation for tactical sensors and other partners across the defense establishment. He oversees the development of advanced AI solutions for combat forces in frontline units. Major A. is a graduate of the “Academization” program, during which he completed a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science while still in high school. Upon completing the program, he enlisted in a role focused on researching and analysing various combat systems and their integration into simulated scenarios, providing recommendations to decision-makers in the military.

During his permanent service, Major A. led the development of data exploitation applications and was responsible for designing data-driven systems that produced significant insights by fusing information from social networks. He also developed a system for predicting weapon losses with an annual accuracy rate of 90%. Later, he completed two advanced degrees in Business Administration and Data Science. In May 2023, Major A. was appointed to the Robotics and Autonomy Department at MAFAT. In this role, he established three research and development teams that integrated cutting-edge sensors, creating significant force multipliers on the battlefield.

Following the outbreak of “Operation Iron Swords,” Major A. formed a unique team to implement algorithms and processes for frontline units. The team quickly generated an impressive volume of data based on operational intelligence and developed critical cloud-based services—a first-of-its-kind achievement. Since October 7, 2023, Major A. has been working around the clock, leading the activities and teams. During the conflict, three of his projects were successfully deployed on the battlefield.
