T.

Age: 30 | Organization: Elbit | Role: Aero-Mechanical Design Engineer

T. is one of the promising talents in the field of mechanical engineering and aero-mechanical design at Elbit Systems. He works as an aero-mechanical design engineer in the Advanced Systems Unit (MALTAM) and began his career at Elbit while still a mechanical engineering student. Today, after successfully managing the challenge of studying and working simultaneously, T. is employed full-time in the Armament Systems Department. His primary focus is on developing advanced armaments for Elbit Land Systems, including precision medium- and long-range rockets such as the EXTRA and Predator Hawk.

T. explains that these rockets boast exceptional accuracy, addressing a critical need sought by many armies worldwide. Precision in strikes is crucial, particularly in densely populated combat zones, which are common in modern battlefields. Early in his time at Elbit, an organizational change led to the disbandment of a parallel department, creating a potential knowledge gap in harness design.

Motivated and mission-driven, T. immediately identified the issue and independently developed a knowledge infrastructure to address the problem in less than a month. At the end of the process, he compiled and published a “User Guide,” which is still in use by the unit today. T., recognized from the beginning as a dedicated team player with exceptional work ethic and creative thinking, is now responsible for preserving critical knowledge bases within the department, planning the product structures of the EXTRA and Predator Hawk, and leading various design initiatives.

He has proven himself to be a valuable asset, not only to the department and its clients but also to Elbit as a whole. In parallel, T. serves in a combat role in the reserves, where he has served over 150 days since the war began.
